Lacquered Polyester Film {Dyeing Guaranteed (DG)} / Metallic Yarn

Lacquered Polyester Film, also known as DG (Dyeing Guaranteed) Film, is used to manufacture Metallic Yarn (Brocade) and "Zari (Brocade) Kasab", which is used in fabrics, for aesthetic/decorative (Design enhancement) purposes.

This film is produced by applying lacquer coating to metallized film and then slitting (cutting) the film to size. The coating is done either on one side of the film, or on both the sides, depending upon the requirements of the customers.

Raw Material sizes - Jumbo Roll with width of 1600 mm
Standard slitting size - 795 mm x 18000 metres
After lacquer coating process - Final output will be - 795 mm x 4 Rolls, each with a length of 18000 metres.
General cutting sizes of Metallic Yarn are - 50/33, 50/35, 50/69, 50/85, 0.12, 0.13
Zari Kasab Deniers - 30, 50, 70, 120, 150, 200 etc.

Metallic Yarn is made of M-type metallic film (12 microns, 1/69" or 1/100" or 1/140") supported by 30D*2 or 20D*2 polyester or nylon at fully closed regular intervals, This is widely used in weaving, knitting, laces, decoration products, fashion accessories, for covering yarns, packaging etc. Slit metallized polyester film (Aluminum metallized) into various sizes of 1/69, 1/85, 1/100 thickness 12 microns, 24 microns and other sizes available on request. It is packed in bobbin form.
